The 2011 Jeep Compass has standard side curtain airbags, standard hill-start assistance with manual transmission, standard electronic stability system with electronic roll mitigation, standard traction control, standard antilock braking system, standard smart key, which immobilizes the engine in a theft attempt.
Additionally, traction control, alarm system (optional), and seat-mounted side-impact airbags are exclusively available on front-wheel drive models.
